Parwal (Snake Gourd) & Onion Bhuna



Today I am sharing another very interesting recipe of Parwal – Parwal & Onion Bhuna. It is very tasty and healthy dish and can be served in lunch or dinner. So if you are looking to make something different and with a bunch of flavors then do try this recipe.

Ingredients:

250 gm perwal cut in slice long
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 onion slice chopped
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 whole red chili
2 grean cardamon
1 black cardamon
2 clove

1 cinnamon stick



Directions:

1.       Heat refined oil in the open pan add cumin seeds , red whole chili, green & black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon sticks,  parwal and onions

2.       Mix properly and keep in on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes

3.       Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and garam masala

4.       Again mix it properly and cover the pan and keep it on low flame till its light brown in colour

5.       Once it is soft and fried properly take it off the flame

6.        Now your Parwal & Onion Bhuna is ready

7.       Now serve your Parwal & Onion Bhuna with hot roti or paratha

Note: Parwal and Onion should be in equal quantity
