Green Leafy Paratha



Going with the theme of Parathas today I am today sharing the recipe of Green Leafy Paratha. I love this paratha because this way I get the daily dose of my leafy vegetables and that too in such a interesting amd tasty manner J If you have kids then this is the best and tastiest way in which you can make sure your lil one eats leafy vegetables.  Next time when you are stumped for choice as to what to cook then do try this healthy and tasty paratha!!

    Ingredients:

2 cup wheat flour
1/2 bowl steam/ boiled spinach
1/2 bowl steam/boiled meethi leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon green chili
2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon ajwain
1 teaspoon black cumin seeds
4 tablespoon oil

Directions:
  1. Boil palak and meethi together for 5-7 minutes and once it is boiled take it out and rinse with cold water and slightly crush it with your hand
  2. Then mix Wheat flour, palak, meethi leaves, salt, green chili, ajwain, black cumin, coriander leaves, cumin powder, garam masala and oil and mix them well
  3. Slowly add water little by little and make a soft dough and keep it covered with damp cloth for 10 minutes
  4. Knead the dough again and make small balls
  5. Roll into a slightly thick chapatti than usual
  6. Pre-heat the girdle (tawa) and cook the Green leafy Paratha with oil
  7. Before serving cut it into half and smear some butter on it
  8. Serve hot with pickle and curd
