Mix Missi Paratha





Keeping with the theme of this week I am sharing sharing recipe of Mix Missi Paratha today. It is a very different kind of paratha. In this we add 5 types of flour and it is very healthy and tasty to eat. So if you get bored with eating your normal stuffed paratha then do try this Mix Missi Paratha. Also, if your kids are bored with eating vegetables then you can try giving them this paratha with curd or pickle, I am sure they will love it!!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup gram flour
1 cup wheat flour
2 tablespoon sooji
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoon sattu
1 chopped carrot
1/2 teaspoon ajwain
1/2 teaspoon black cumin seeds
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
1 teaspoon chopped green chili
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin powder
2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
4 tablespoon oil

Directions:

1.       Mix wheat flour, gram flour, sooji, maida, sattu, salt, chaat masala, green chili, ajwain, black cumin seeds, coriander leaves, carrot,  ginger, garlic and oil and mix them well
2.       Slowly add water little by little and make a soft dough and keep it covered with damp cloth for 15 minutes
3.       Knead the dough again and make small balls
4.       Roll into a slightly thick chapatti than usual.
5.       Pre-heat the tawa  and cook the missi roti with  oil
6.       Before serving cut it into half and smear some butter on it
7.       Serve hot with pickle and curd
