We start our Rakhi special with delicious snack Hara Bhara Kabab. This one is every vegetarian go to kabab. Made with a mix of mashed potatoes, spinach, green peas, chillies, some cornflour for binding and select spices for flavour this kabab is quick, simple and delicious. Perfect snack to go with a cup of tea and you can serve it with any chutney of your choice.
Ingredients:
1 cup Spinach (chopped and boiled)
1 cup Green Peas (boiled)
½ cup Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
½ cup Paneer (crushed)
2 tbs Cheese (grated)
1 teaspoon Green Chillies (chopped)
1 teaspoon Ginger (chopped)
Few Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 Onion (chopped)
1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
Salt to taste
2 tbs Cornflour/ Corn starch
Sufficient oil for deep frying
Directions:
1 cup Green Peas (boiled)
½ cup Potatoes (boiled and mashed)
½ cup Paneer (crushed)
2 tbs Cheese (grated)
1 teaspoon Green Chillies (chopped)
1 teaspoon Ginger (chopped)
Few Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 Onion (chopped)
1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
Salt to taste
2 tbs Cornflour/ Corn starch
Sufficient oil for deep frying
Directions:
1. Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan and add onion,
ginger and green chili and roast for a minute then add boiled peas and salt. Mix
properly and roast for 3 to 4 minutes
2. Now take mixer grinder put the all above
material and boiled spinach, peas in it and grind it together
3. Take a bowl and put the grinded mixture in it
and add potatoes, paneer, coriander leaves, chaat masala and salt. Then
add cornflour for binding and cheese, and mix it well
4. Divide the mixture into 10 to 12 equal portions.
Shape each portion into a ball and then press it between your palms to give it
a flat tikki shape
5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep-fry the
tikkis on medium heat for three to four minutes. Drain onto an absorbent paper.
Serve hot with a sauce of your choice
