Potato & Paneer Tikki

Second dish in our Rakhi special is Potato & Paneer Tikki. It is a lovely snack to serve at any time of the day. The spices are mild and the filling of paneer makes it even more delicious to eat. It is a big hit with everyone so do try this yummy tikki this rainy season.


100 gm crushed paneer
1/2 kg boiled and mashed potato
1 small bowl boiled peas
vegetable oil for deep fry
1/2 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoon cornflour powder
1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1.       Take boiled potatoes in the bowl and add salt and corn flour powder and mix properly.

2.       In another plate take paneer and peas and add  salt, corn flour powder, pav bhaji masala, red chili powder and garam masala and mix it well

3.       With the help of your hand make half circles with potatoes

4.       Now keep a tablespoon of stuffing in the center, gather all the corners and seal the potatoes with stuffing inside

5.        Press it down gently to flatten it

6.        Heat refined oil in an open pan and deep fry your tikki  (try to do it on low flame) and  when it becomes light brown in colour remove from the pan

7.       Now serve your hot Potato & Paneer Tikki with chutney of your choice
