Pumpkin Soup

 It is rainy season and I just love having hot beverages in this weather. Yesterday I was thinking about what to make and was not in a mood for tea or coffee or usual soups that I make so decided to try making pumpkin soup. It turned out awesome, the flavour & texture of this soup is so rich and smooth. The best part about this recipe is that I have used very few ingredient, so it is extremely quick & easy to make. Enjoy this rainy season with this mouth-watering soup J


Ingredients:
500 gms Pumpkin
200 gms Leek Stem Part
2 Big Potatoes
2 tbs Salt
1 tbs Sugar
1 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
30 gms Butter


Directions:
1.       Chop pumpkin, leek, potatoes
2.       Heat butter in a pressure cooker till it melts
3.       Then put leak in it and fry for 1 minute, then put potatoes and again fry for a minute and then add pumpkin
4.       After that add 1 litre water and add salt, black pepper powder & sugar and then close the cooker and give 2 visil
 
5.       Then take out the contents in a bowl & using a hand blender, blend the soup
6.       Then strain it
7.       Now your Pumpkin Soup is ready to serve
