Honey Pasta
My daughter loves pasta and this weekend her demand
was to make it little different than usual. I had few ingredients at home and
was racking my brain to how to add new flavours suddenly saw the bottle of
honey and decided why not use this in the pasta. The result was very yummy and
my daughter just loved the sweetness of honey in her pasta. One thing is for
sure that kids would just love this pasta as spices are very little and honey
gives it a desired sweetness.

Aloo Matar
Aloo
Matar is a Punjabi dish which is made from potatoes and peas in a spiced creamy
tomato based sauce. The sauce is generally cooked with garlic, ginger, onion,
tomatoes and other spices but because it was Navratri going on I made it
without using any onion and garlic. The taste was amazing, I didn’t miss the
onions or garlic in the gravy at all. This is a perfect dish to make for a lunch
or dinner. You can make it with little gravy to have with rice or can make it
completely dry to enjoy with hot rotis.

Aloo Halwa
Potato – one vegetable that is used the most during
Navratri. I am bored of eating aloo as a savoury dish so thought why not make
Aloo Halwa for a change. It is very filing and extremely tasty and quick to
make with use of only few ingredients. Not only enjoy this halwa during
Navratri season but also if suddenly some guests are coming and you are in a
fix then this is the perfect dessert to make and serve.

Peanut Tikki
After having sweet halwa yesterday I was in mood to make something
chatpata. Then I thought that though I am fasting but that doesn’t stop me from
experimenting, so instead of making regular kuttu or singhara tikki I added
peanut to it. The result was amazing, the taste of peanut and crunchiness of it
was delicious. These Peanut Tikki are must try for this Navratri season.

to cook and is a perfect dish to make for morning breakfast. To relish it more
have it with hot glass of milk. On this sweet note wishing everyone a very

feel like making it like I always do. Then I started thinking what I can add that
will give twist to my regular rajma and voila made Rajma in schezwan sauce. The
new flavours were awesome and everybody at home just loved it J
