Mint Chicken Masala

Today I am sharing recipe of Mint Chicken – this dish has freshness of herbs with taste of spices. The aromatic green paste blends beautifully with the tender chicken and unfolds the most exotic taste out of it. It is best served with Nan or rice.

Ingredients:
500 Gms Chicken (cut in small pieces)
1 Bunch Mint Leaves
Sufficient oil for deep frying
Garam Masala Whole (Green and black cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves, red chili)
2-3 Onion (chopped)
3-4 Tomatoes Paste
1 Small Bowl Fresh Cream
3-4 tbs Butter
1 teaspoon Salt (according to taste)
1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
1 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
1 teaspoon Ginger and Garlic Paste
2 Small Bowl Curd
½ Cup Milk
1 tbs Lemon Juice

Directions:
1.       Clean Chicken with water and keep it aside for 5 minutes to drain out excess water
2.       Put - chicken, ½ salt, ginger and garlic, mint leaves, lemon, turmeric powder, red chili powder and ½ cup water in open pan, cover with lid and heat or boil for 10 minutes
3.       Again heat oil in an open pan and add whole garam masala, onion and boiled chicken and fry for 10 minutes
4.       After that add tomato paste, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, curd and cream  and mix it properly and fry till all of it becomes light brown in colour (this will take approx. 15 minutes)
5.       Put the flame on low once Chicken becomes soft
6.       Add- Milk and cover with lid and keep it on low flame for 5 minutes
7.       Now your Mint Chicken Masala is ready to serve
