Snacks are kind of a must-have accompaniment with tea or starters for small party. Today I tried some different kind of tikki. It is very quick to make and delicious. You can add or substitute vegetables depending upon your taste and liking. So do try this recipe if you are looking for a quick and easy snack with tea.
Ingredients
1 small bowl boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 small bowl grated carrot
1/2 cup boiled and crushed corn and peas
1 tablespoon chopped ginger and garlic
1 teaspoon chopped green chili
2 tablespoon chopped coriander
2 tables spoon chopped onion
1 table spoon white teel
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
1 teaspoon dry mango powder
1 tea spoon vegetable powder
2 tablespoon bread crumb
2 tablespoon cornflour
oil for deep frying
Method
Mix all ingredients in a bowl
Prepare small balls and press them to make tikkis
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and deep fry the tikki on low flame.
Once it becomes light browns remove from pan and serve with any Chutney.
