Kuttu Tikki


Today is Maha Shivaratri and most of the people observe fast during this day. Even I am fasting today and was looking for options and decided to make Kuttu Tikki. It is perfect food for fasting as not only it is delicious to eat but is easy to make and keeps your tummy full for long time. So enjoy your fast with crunchy and melt in your mouth tikkis. They taste best with chilled curd.




Ingredients
1/2 Cup kuttu Flour
2 tbs Singhara Flour
2 tbs  Poppy Seeds
1/2 cup boiled and mashed Potatoes
2 tbs Water or Milk
Sufficient Oil for deep frying

Method
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and prepare a dough
Then make small circle in shape of tikki from the dough
Heat oil and deep fry them till they turn golden brown in colour
Serve hot with curd


PS: During fast I don't take any salt or condiment but if you want you can add sendha namak (rock salt) or some red chili powder to your dough.
