Srikhand


Srikhand is a very famous and traditional dessert of Maharastra. It is very simple and easy to prepare. During the festival session we want make different tupes of sweets but due to time constraints sometimes we are not able to do so. On that time Srikhand can be a good option to prepare as it is really nice and very easy to make and doesn't take much time after the initial preparation.





Ingredients

200 gm curd
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon green cardamon powder
2 tablespoon almond powder
1/2 cup dry fruits
3 to 4 saffron trade

Method

Mix curd and sugar together in a bowl
Take the curd and sugar mixture in a cheese cloth and hang it for 4 to 5 hr to drain out excess water and make it very thick.
Remove curd from the cheese cloth and take it in a large bowl
Mix dry fruits, almond powder, saffron trade and green cardamon powder in the curd .
Garnish with dry fruits and serve.
