Gond Ka Laddu

Yesterday I was in a mood to have something sweet & decided to make Gond Ka Laddu. Gond is an edible gum, extracted from the bark of a tree. Pale, brownish yellow coloured crystals of gond are easily available in shops. One of the most popular ways of consuming this ingredient is in the form of delicious Gond Ke Laddu. You can have this laddu with warm glass of milk or enjoy it as a dessert after the meal. Delicious to eat & quick to make, they are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
1kg Wheat Flour (Attta)
150 gms Gond
500 gms Desi Ghee
1kg Sugar (Powdered)
4-5 Green Cardamom (Powdered)
50 gms Almonds & Cashew nut (optional)

Directions
·         Take a pan and heat ghee then add flour and fry till it becomes golden brown in colour
·         When the flour is almost done add gond and let it fry with flour for sometime on low flame
·         Then take it off burner and let it cool down little bit
·         After that add powdered sugar, cardamom & chopped almonds and cashew nut into the mixture and mix it well
·         Take small handfuls in your palm and roll then into balls
·         Now your laddu are ready, store them in airtight container
