Parathaa are usually stuffed with vegetables such as boiled potatoes, vegetables and paneer etc. Today I am going to share recipe of keema paratha . Keema paratha is one of the delicious foods eaten in the Afghanistan and other Asian subcontinent countries. This is very popular dish in Punjab. It is awesome in taste with a finger licking recipe.
Stuffing Ingredients
Minced Chicken1 tbs chopped ginger
1 tbs chopped garlic
2 tbs coriander leaf chopped
1 tbs mint leaf chopped
1 tbs chopped green chilli
1/2 small bowl chopped onion
1 tbs salt
1 tbs garam masala powder
1 tbs cinnamon power
1 tbs lemon juice
Dough Ingredients
1 small bowl Wheat Flour1 small bowl Maida
2 tbs Oil
Salt according to taste
1 tbs White teel
Water according to need
Preparations of stuffing
Clean Chicken keema with water
In a microwave safe bowl add- keema Chicken, Salt, ginger , garlic, cinnamon powder, mint leaves, add 1/2 cup water and boil in microwave for 7 to 10 min.
Once its boiled take out from microwave leave for 10 min to allow it to cool.
Heat butter or oil in big sized pan and put chopped onion and green chilly and fry till golden brown. Add boiled chicken keema and salt, garam masala, keep stirring occasionally till it is golden brown.
Once it becomes golden colour, add lemon juice and mix properly.
Now the stuffing is ready .
Preparations of Dough
In a wide bowl, add 1 cup of wheat flour, Maida, salt, oil, needed water and prepare a soft, smooth dough
Grease your hands with oil and knead the dough well
Cover and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes
Method
Dust a little flour and roll out the dough in small circle
Keep a tablespoon of stuffing in the centre and gather all corners and seal the dough
Press it gently to flatten the dough
Dust a little flour and roll out the dough with gentle hands so the stuffing doesn’t come out.
Heat the tawa and place the rolled out dough
When small bubbles start forming on the surface spread little oil and flip it over
Spread little oil on the other side and cook both sides till they are light brown
Remove from tawa and put little butter on the paratha
serve with curd or as you like.
