Chicken Keema Chili





Chicken is such a diverse dish and can be made in so many different ways. Yesterday I made Chicken chili; this chicken chili is sweet and salty in taste with little bit of Chinese twist and can be served as a quick dinner or lunch dish or can be eaten just like that during snack time. Try this dish and I am sure you will really like the taste & flavors of this dish.


Ingredients:

      250 gm chicken keema minced
    1/2 bowl refine oil
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 small bowl chopped onion
    1 tablespoon chopped green chili
    1 tablespoon chopped ginger & garlic paste
    1 tablespoon chopped ginger & garlic
    1 teaspoon garam masala
    1 tablespoon chicken chili masala
    1 small bowl chopped tomato
    1/2 small bowl chopped capsicum
    2 tablespoon cornflour powder
    1 tablespoon chili souce
    2 tablespoon tomato souce
    1 tablespoon souce soya sauce
    1 tablespoon honey
   2 tablespoon chopped spring onions for garnishing
   
    Method:
    
    1. Keep minced chicken in a medium sized  Microwave safe bowl- add salt, chopped green chili, chopped ginger and garlic and garam masala and add 1/2 cup water . Keep in microwave for 10 min.
   
    2. After that remove from microwave and remove excess water from keema and let it cool for 10 min.
   
    3. Now add cornflour powder for binding and add salt to taste.

    4. Take small portions of this and make small size balls.


      5.       Deep fry in pre-heated oil.
       

      6.       Again heat oil in the open pan – add Small pieces of onion, green chilli, Ginger garlic Paste, Capsicum pieces and fry it till light brown.
       

      7.       Once it’s light brown in color add tomato pieces, salt and ginger garlic paste fry for 5 min.
      8.       After that add tomato sauce, Chilli sauce, soya sauce and Chicken chilli powder and cook for 2-3 min
      

      9.       Add fried Keema chicken and mix in the sauce properly,  add honey and keep on low flame for 10 to 12 Min, ( on low flame it will cook properly )       

     10.   Once it become ready Garnish with your Spring onion
      11.   Serve with paratha/naan/fried rice.
