Crispy Baby Corn in Chili Sauce



It’s again snack time and today I am sharing recipe of Crispy Baby Corn in Chili Sauce. This snack has Chinese flavor and is slightly chili but is a great dish to have with tea. Do try making your normal corn dish with Chinese twist and you will love the flavors that you will get in this dish.

Ingredients:

250 gram baby corn
1/2 cup boiled corn seeds
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ginger & garlic paste
1 chopped onion
2 chopped green chili
2 tablespoon spring onion
2 chopped tomato
1 chopped capsicum
2 tablespoon cornflour powder
2 tablespoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped ginger & Garlic

Directions:

1.       Put baby corn and corn seeds in medium size of bowl and add ½ spoon salt, corn flour powder, ½ table spoon ginger & garlic paste, 1 tablespoon chili sauce, 1 tablespoon tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon soya sauce and ½ tablespoon vinegar.

2.       Heat  refined oil in open pan and  rry baby corn and Corn seed in the oil and fry till they light brown and crispy.
3.       Again heat oil in the open pan and add onion, green chilies, ginger & garlic pieces, capsicum and fry till they are light brown in colour

4.       Once it’s become light brown add tomato, ½ spoon salt and ½ spoon ginger & garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes

5.       After that add tomato sauce, chili sauce, soya sauce and vinegar.

6.       Fry for 5 minutes and then add baby corn and corn seeds and fry for 2 to 3 minutes again

7.       Then add ½ cup water and cook it for 5 minutes

8.       Once it becomes ready add 1 spoon corn flour powder in 3 to 4 table spoon water and mix in the baby corn and keep it to light flame for 5 minutes

9.  Garnish it spring onions and   Serve it hot
