Surmai Fish Tawa Fry / Tikka


Fish is very healthy food and when cooked in crispy manner its taste multiplies many-folds. Surmai fish also known as Seer Fish or King Fish have lesser bones and very easy to eat. Today we are presenting a recipe of crispy Surmai fish, which can be  made in so many different ways. Surmai fish is spicy  in taste  and can be served as a quick dinner or lunch dish or can be eaten just like that during snack time. Try this dish and I am sure you will really like the taste & flavors of this dish. very easy cook.



Ingredients

4 Pieces Surmai fish/ Seer Fish  (also called Mackerel)
1 Tbs rice powder
1 Tbs Cornflour Powder
1 Tbs Rawa/Suji
1 Tea Spoon Fish Masala
1 Tea Spoon black pepper
1 Tea Spoon Garlic Powder
1 Tea Spoon Salt
1 Tea Spoon red chili powder
1 Tea Spoon lemon pepper
1 Tea Spoon lemon juice
1 Tea Spoon turmeric powder
1/2 Cup oil for fry

Method

1 Marinate fish with garlic, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder and leave for 10 Min.



2  In a separate plate make dry mixture of rice powder, suji/rawa, cornflour powder and fish masala powder and 1 pinch of salt.


3  Sprinkle this mixture on the fish and coat properly on both sides.


4   Now heat 2 table spoon oil in open pan and put marinated fish in the heated oil .



5  Roast both side of fish pieces very gently till they turn golden color.



6  Now your can serve your Surmai Fish Tawa Fry / Tikka with Green Chutney.
