Dahi Bhalla Chaat

Holi is coming and somehow I feel it is incomplete without Dahi Bhalla. One of my favourite snacks and this time instead of serving plain dahi bhalla I made dahi bhalla chaat. The texture of bhalla and crunchiness of onions and mixture in it took the whole experience of eating dahi bhalla to a different level. I just love my chaat, so you also try this new variant and I am sure will love the taste of it.

Ingredients for Bhalla
2 Cup Urad Daal (Soaked in water overnight)
1 teaspoon Black Cumin Powder
1 tbs Chopped Ginger
1 tbs Salt
1 tbs Coriander Leaves
Sufficient Oil for deep frying

Ingredients for Chaat
1 small bowl Pomegranate Seeds
1 small Chopped Tomato
1 small Chopped Onion
2 tbs Coriander Leaves
1 Chopped Green Chili
1 teaspoon Red Chili
1 small bowl Namkeen Mixture
1 mid-size bowl of Curd
2-3 teaspoon Green Chutney
2-3 teaspoon Imli Chutney
1 tbs mixture of Salt. Red Chili and Jeera Powder for garnish

Directions
·         Make paste of urad daal in mixer grinder with 2 tbs of water
·         Take daal paste in the mid-sized bowl add and add salt, black jeera,
·         Heat oil in an open kadai and make small balls and deep fry
·         Then remove them from oil and keep in hot water for 30 minutes
·         Remove from water and squeeze out excess water with your hands
·         Now take a serving bowl put 2 pieces of bhalla and add curd all the remaining ingredients

·         Then garnish it with mixture of salt, red chili powder and jeera powder
·         Now your Dahi Bhalla Chaat is ready to serve
