Corn Tikki



Next in our Tikki special week is Corn Tikki, it is super easy to make and tastes really crispy & delicious. You can serve this tikki with sauce or coriander chutney. If you are looking for something different for a tea party then this is a perfect dish for it.
Ingredients:

1 cup boiled corn seeds
4 baby corn
1 chopped onion
2 green chili chopped
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1 tablespoon rice flour
2-3 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
1 tablespoon cornflour powder
1 tablespoon chaat masala
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 cup refined oil 

Method:

1.       Boil corn seeds, baby corn, ginger and garlic in microwave
2.       Take boiled corn and baby corn in mixer grinder and make a paste without adding water
3.       Now take out this paste in a bowl and add rice flour, corn flour, maida, salt, garam masala                     powder, chaat masala, red chili powder, ginger, garlic, onion and green chilly and mix it properly


4.       Now make small circles of this paste


5.       Take 2 spoon rice powder in the water prepare semi liquid paste
6.       Then coat your corn tikki in this liquid
7.       Heat refined oil in the open pan and deep fry your Corn Tikki (Try to do it on low flame and once it becomes light brown remove from pan)


8.       Now your Corn Tikki is ready to serve.

Green Peas Tikki




First in our Tikki special week is Green Peas Tikki, it is perfect snack for tea time. If you want to avoid making usually potato tikki and are in a mood to try something different then do try it as the flavours in this tikki are awesomely delicious.

Ingredients:

1 cup green peas
1 chopped onion
1 teaspoon chopped green chili
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon gram flour
1 tablespoon corn flour
1 tablespoon bread crumb
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 tea spoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Vegetable oil for deep frying

Directions:

 Take peas in mixer grinder and make paste without water (if required add 1-2 spoon)


 Now take out green peas paste in the bowl and add gram flour, corn flour, salt, garam masala powder, chat masala or dry mango powder, red chili powder, ginger, onion and green chili and mix it well

Now make small circle of this mixture


 Coat it with bread crumbs

 Heat refined oil in the open pan and deep fry your Green Peas Tikki t (try to do it in low flame)

 
Once it becomes light brown remove from pan

Now your Green Peas Tikki are ready to serve

Pomegranate Soda Drink



We kick start our juice week with Pomegranate Soda Drink. It is sweet & salty in taste and is perfect drink for summer season. In this I have used soda water to give it a little buzz but if you don’t want to make it with soda water than you can easily substitute it with plain water. Extremely healthy and yummy drink in this summer heat!!
