Masala Poha


Poha is an all-weather snack/breakfast which can be prepared very easily and quickly with commonly available ingredients in your kitchen. Tried to give it a different flavor by adding peanut powder and coconut powder.      



Ingredients

1 bowl poha soaked for 2 to 3 min in water.
1 bowl chopped vegetables like onion, potato, cauliflowers, green peas and carrot .
1 tea spoon chopped green chili
1 tea spoon chopped ginger
2 table spoon chopped coriander leafs
1 tea spoon black mustard seeds
6 curry leaves
2 table spoon butter
1 tea spoon salt ( according to taste)
1 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 tea spoon cummins powder
1 tea spoon garam masala powder
1 tea spoon sugar
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1 tea spoon kitchen king masala
2 pinch dry mango powder
1 table spoon roasted peanut powder
1 table spoon dry coconut powder
1 table spoon peanut
1 tea spoon citric Acid or lemon juice

Method

1. Heat butter in open pan. add black mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger, green chili and peanut. Roast it for 1 min.

2. Add all chopped vegetables and sugar, Fry till it turn light brown color.

3. Now add all dry spices like salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and kitchen king masala, mix all these together and cook for another 1 min.

4. Add soaked poha in the fried vegetables, mix well and add peanut powder, coconut powder and dry mango powder. Mix well and keep on low flame for another 4-5 min.

5. Before switching off the gas, add citric acid or lemon juice and coriander leaves.

6. During serving add namkin bhujiya .
