Paneer Tikka

I am always on a look out for good snack options. Few days back tried my hand at making paneer tikka. The result was melt in your mouth paneer pieces marinated in Indian spices and getting crunchiness of the dish with roasted capsicum. You can serve it in a plate but just to add little glamour to the dish I served it on a stick. And what can I say hubby was extra happy not only with the dish but also with the presentation. Next time when you are planning a small get together do try this dish as it’s easy to prepare and is not very time consuming.

Ingredients:
200 gms Paneer/ Cottage Cheese Pieces
1 small bowl Green and Red Capsicum (Cut in small pieces)
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Oregano  Seasoning
1 teaspoon Dry Ginger Powder
1 teaspoon Dry Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
1 tbs Olive Oil

Directions:
·         Marinate paneer pieces with salt, oregano, ginger and garlic powder and cumin powder and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes
·         Now in an open pan heat olive oil and add paneer and capsicum
·         Roast all the things together for 4-5 minutes and add black pepper powder and lemon juice

·         Now take a stick and gently put paneer and capsicum pieces on it and serve hot
