Paneer & Coconut Samosa

Its snack time and one of the snacks that I just love is Samosa. Rainy season is here and what better way to enjoy then to have hot-hot samosa with tea but recipe that I am sharing today is not of your traditional potato (aloo) samosa but of Paneer & Coconut stuffed samosa. Do try these yummy samosa and I bet you won’t miss your traditional aloo samosa!!

Ingredients

200 gm crushed paneer
1 small bowl water coconut crushed
2 cup maida
1 cup oil
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
1/2 small chopped onion
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 chopped green chili
few chopped coriander leaves

Directions:
Preparation for Stuffing
1.       Take a bowl  and add paneer,  coconut , salt, ginger, onion, black pepper, green chilies and coriander leaves and mix it properly

 Preparation of Maida Dough
1.       In a bowl, add maida powder, ½ teaspoon salt and 4 to 5 tablespoon of refine oil and mix it properly
2.       After that add water and knead it properly to make a quite hard dough

Preparation of Paneer & Coconut Samosa
1.       Divided the dough into 6 to 7 pieces or according to your requirement
2.       Take each piece and roll it in your palms and then roll it with a rolling pin keeping medium thickness
3.       Cut with a knife through the center of the samosa
4.       By the help of your finger tips, on the straight edge of the sliced dough, apply some water and join the two ends bringing the watered edge on top of the plain edge
5.       Press the edges well, so that they get sealed (It will look like a cone)
6.       Now stuff your samosa cone with the Paneer & Coconut stuffing
7.       Now apply some water on the top cone edge and pinch a part in the edge 8.       Press both the edges and make sure there are no gaps. The edges should be joined very well so that the stuffing does not come out while frying
9.       Now in pan heat the oil for deep frying
10.   Once the oil becomes hot, gently slide 3-4 samosa and then reduce the flame
11.   Turnover in between and fry the samosas till they are golden brown in colour on a low flame12.   Now your Paneer & Coconut Samosa is ready. Serve it hot with your favorite chutney.
