Hot ‘n’ Sweet Capsicum & Mushroom

Bored with trying to make Capsicum and Mushroom the normal way then do try this Hot ‘n’ Sweet Capsicum & Mushroom dish. This is a Chinese dish and is little bit sweet and spicy in taste. This dish is very easy to make and adds that extra zing and flavour to your normal vegetables. Next time you plan to make mushrooms or capsicum trying making it this way and I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed!!

4 capsicum
2 onion
250 gm Mushroom
2 tablespoon tomato sauce
1 teaspoon soya sauce
2 teaspoon chili sauce
2 teaspoon courflour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
oil for cooking'


1.       Cut onions and capsicum in big pieces

2.       Cut mushrooms in four pieces and dust them with salt and corn flour

3.       Then fry mushrooms till they are golden brown in colour

4.       Take another pan and put oil in it and sauté onions and capsicum in it

5.       After that add mushroom in it and mix it well

6.       Then add tomato sauce, soya sauce, green chilli sauce and sugar and mix them well

7.       After that mix corn flour in water and mix this water with all the other ingredients in the pan and add salt according to your taste

8.       After that add little water to make gravy, you can add water according to the consistency you like in the gravy

9.       Then keep it on low flame for 5-7 minutes and your Hot ‘n’ Sweet Capsicum & Mushroom is ready

10.   You can serve this dish with paranthas or steam ric
