Kabuli Matar & Aloo Chaat



Today I am sharing very easy and quick recipe with very little use of oil– Kabuli Matar & Aloo Chaat, you can also make this chaat with white or black chickpeas or hara chana. This chaat is quick recipe that can be served as an evening snack or brunch. So enjoy this yummy chaat at anytime of the day!


Ingredients:

1 bowl boiled kabuli mater
4 boiled potatoes
1 chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon chaat masala
1 tablespoon chopped green chili
few coriander leaves chopped
2 tablespoon coriander chutney
1 tablespoon tamarind chutney
4 tablespoon curd
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoon any mixture
1/2 teaspoon ginger grated
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder


Directions:

1.       In a pressure cooker take 2 cups of water, kabuli matar, I tbs salt, turmeric powder and ginger and give 6 to 7 whistles

2.       Take out these boiled Kabul matar in a bowl and keep it aside

3.       Then in pressure cooker boil 4-5 potatoes

4.       Once the potatoes are boiled, peel them and take them out in a big bowl  crush them properly

5.       To this crushed potatoes add green chilies, salt, cumin powder, coriander leaves and mix it properly

6.       Then make flat small balls (like small tikki) with it

7.       Now take an open pan and put little oil in it and roast these flat balls of potatoes

8.       Then in  a plate take one aloo tikki and add then make a layer of kabuli matar on top of it, then add little bit of onion, tomato, curd, coriander leaves, red chili powder, chaat masala, coriander chutney and imli chutney

9.       Now garnish the chaat with mixture and your Kabuli Matar Chaat is ready to serve
